Weekly wrap up #18 ;) april 23rd - april 29th

Hello my lovely people :) as usually on monday... at least it's like that since the beginning of this year ;) I have for you my newest #WeeklyWrapUp post :) where I talk about all the books I read this past week :) this time, it wasn't as many pages as I thought... but I will explain it all in a second, just keep reading :) let's start with the one book I was in the middle of and finished it, then I will jump into the two I read entirely, and at the end I will try to think of an explanation why I still haven't finished *that* paperback... ;)

"Wolfsong" by T. J. Klune
from 7% to 100% -> 370 pages; finished

Soooo... this book... *sighs* it may not seem like many pages, but I listened to the audiobook of this one, and it was almost 18 hours... it's a lot of time to spend on an audiobook when you have so many other things you have to do... but once I started it, I knew... I just knew I would have to finish it ASAP... because this story... *sighs* books about shifters are always my favourite ones, but I have never read a story like this one... it was beautiful, emotional and complex... it left such an impression... I'm gonna have to wait a few more days before I can even begin to try and write my full review... long story short: all the stars :)

"The only one" by Lauren Blakely
from 1% to 100% -> 140 pages; finished

After I finished the very serious audiobook, I needed something completely opposite to shake off any potential book hangovers... ;) so I decided to read this little gem on sunday evening :) there's just something about Lauren Blakely's writing style that I absolutely adore ;) her stories are always charming, funny, sexy and just... *sighs happily* they always make me smile :) and this novella was no exception :)

"Company ink" by Kat Colburn
from 1% to 100% -> 249 pages; finished

During the week I managed to read this free book I got from the author... by the way, I am very proud of the progress I've been making with my giant #BookMountain of ARCs and such :) and I have to honestly say that I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I adored this story ;) it was a slow burn romance... and you know how big of a fan I am of those :) friends first was just an awesome bonus :) this debut novel stole my heart and I am looking forward to reading more of Kat's work in the future ;)

"The son of Neptune" by Rick Riordan
from page 152 to page 163

I thought I would finish this book by now... I was so sure about that... yeah... ;) and then I started "Wolfsong" audiobook and all my plans went to hell ;) because the majority of my reading time this past week was spent on reading that gem... I read just a few pages of this one late sunday night, because I was determined to make at least a little bit of progress :)

Total page count of the week:

This week was... ok, when it comes to all I've read :) as in the amount of pages ;) because the stories themselves... I loved all of them to pieces :) I had a little bit of everything... emotional and hilarious... sexy and sweet... *sighs happily* this next week may go into two directions... I have a few additional days off from work, so I will either read a lot because of that... or I will read even less, cause I will be occupied in other ways... who can tell? I will, but next monday ;)
