Books I can't wait to get my hands on ;) may edition

Hello my lovely people :) another month just flew right by me and before I could even blink, here we are at the end of april... and we all know what that means... :) a post all about books I can't wait to get my hands on in may :) to be honest, I thought that I won't have that many books to talk about, but apparently I was wrong... ;) because I have not two... not even five... but seven books :) yes, you read that right ;) I have seven books to talk about, so let's just jump into all that, shall we? as always, in no particular order :)

First one I want to mention is "The voyeur and the vet" co-written by Penny Reid and L. H. Cosway, the fourth installment in their Rugby series :) there's no official cover yet, or even the synopsis, but I will have the previous covers and a little sneak peek to give you a feeling about what we can expect :) all I know is that the hero will be Will, roommate of the hero from the previous book :) and even though I don't remember many details from that story (it was my least favourite of the series so far) what I do remember, is that I adored him :) keep your fingers crossed for me, cause I signed up for the ARC and hopefully I will get my hands on it soon :)

"The burning maze" by Rick Riordan is book #3 in The trials of Apollo series :) I am still in the middle of reading his previous series, the second one set in the Percy Jackson-ish world, but from what I heard about this third series, I can't wait to read it :) so naturally I pre-ordered this little gem :) I mean, who doesn't love witty humor, adventures and surprises around every corner and just all around awesomeness? ;)

"A court of frost and starlight" by Sarah J. Maas is the newest addition to A court of thorns and roses series, and the first novella in it :) yes, I read only the first book so far in the original trilogy but... well... to be honest I have no excuses... all I can say is that I was afraid that the series won't go in the direction I hoped it would... but I heard some things that made me really excited about continuing on with it... besides the obvious Beauty and the beast vibes ;) which you should know by now is my #BookKryptonite ;) so I have a feeling I'm gonna want to have this addition ASAP ;)

"Jock row" by Sara Ney is the first book in her new series Jock hard :) Sara is a fairly new to me author, I discovered her thanks to K, one of my #BookBesties only this year, and am completely in love with her writing style :) I've read a few of her books... bought a few more... ;) and now she's definitely on my radar when it comes to new adult stories set in college :) I'm very curious to read this one ;)

"Born of trouble" by Sherrilyn Kenyon is the newest installment in one of my all time favourite series, The league :) I still haven't read the previous one, but that hasn't stopped me from pre-ordering this one ;) it's this epic and fantastic sci-fi series full of complex characters, action, sarcastic banter and bonds stronger than blood... I can't wait to go back to it :)

"Speakeasy" by Sarina Bowen is the fifth installment in her True north series :) I did not expect this book... yes, I was hopeful that at some point we will get more stories set in that town, with some of the characters I know and love, but this release is a surprise ;) as in, it goes live much faster than I anticipated... but that's always a good thing ;) plus, look at this gorgeous cover... *sighs dreamily* :) I'm hoping to get my hands on the ARC of this gem, so fingers crossed ;) especially since it's about May and I love her... :)

Last but not least I have "Year of descendants" by Aimee Hyndman, the third installment in her The clockwork gods chronicles :) it doesn't have an official cover yet, but I will post the ones for previous two books, so you can see what we can expect :) this series is a fantasy / steampunk mix of awesome, and I can't wait to get my hands on the ARC from the publisher... :)
