Weekly wrap up #9 ;) february 19th - february 25th

Hello again to the newest installment of me new-ish series #WeeklyWrapUp ;) I'm calling it new-ish, cause it's been almost two months I've been doing it and I'm absolutely loving it :) I think it's something that will definitely last on this blog for a long time... as in permanently :) I hope you guys are enjoying those posts as well :) but without further ado let's jump into all the books I read last week :) starting with the ones I was in the middle of and managed to finish, then the ones I read completely, and then I will tell you a bit more about all the ones I am still in the middle of :)

"Elite" by Carrie Aarons
from 11% to 100% -> 206 pages; finished

I should have finish this book faster, but... well... it just didn't happen :) this was an eARC I got from the author and even though the type of the story wasn't exactly my cup of tea, I still can recommend it for you guys :) if you love drama, intrigue, scandals and basically "Gossip girl" types of stories, this one is perfect for you :) I already have a full review up on my blog, so you can check it out if you want to know more -> READ ME <- :)

"The studying hours" by Sara Ney
from 82% to 100% -> 64 pages; finished

I was this close *lifts up fingers only millimiters apart* to finishing this book in time for last week's weekly wrap up, but I just ran out of time :) I listened to this one on audio and loved every minute of it :) I gave this hilarious book 5 stars and cannot wait to dive back into this series, also on audio, as soon as I finish my current audiobook... but more about that one below ;) I loved the banter between our main couple and am very curious to see how the author will change another huge douchebag into a swoonworthy hero ;)

"The girl without magic" by Megan O'Russell
from 1% to 100% -> 231 pages; finished

This was the only book I managed to read entirely in the past week :) it's the first installment in a fantasy-ish series about a young witch who is transported into a different world and then... things get interesting ;) will have a full review up later today if you want to know more... :) so be sure to come back and check it out :)

"Bogowie muszą być szaleni" by Aneta Jadowska
from page 86 to page 86

Another week and here we are yet again... out of all four paperbacks that I am currently in the middle of reading I picked up exactly... zero... *sighs* it's not that I don't like them... I was just in the mood to read something else... so instead of forcing myself to pick one of them and just read, I am going where my mood takes me ;) we shall see how the next week will look ;) so this is the first one of four... :)

"Grave mercy" by Robin LaFevers
from page 189 to page 189

The second paperback out of the four I didn't touch... :)

"The lost hero" by Rick Riordan
from page 51 to page 51

The third one...

"The gentleman's guide to vice and virtue" by Mackenzi Lee
from page 152 to page 152

And the last one of the four that are still looking pretty on my nightstand :)

"The lightning-struck heart" by T. J. Klune
from 1% to 54% -> 206 pages

This is the main reason why I haven't picked any of those paperbacks mentioned above... :) after finishing "The studying hours" I wanted to pick up a different kind of an audiobook :) so I finally decided to give this gem a try... and my oh my... it absolutely blew my mind :) I don't want to read anything else... like at all :) and it's taking me a while to get through this one, because even though the actual book is the equivalent of like 400 pages the audiobook is almost 20 hours long :) don't get me wrong I am loving every minute of it, but it takes a while... ;) it's this absolutely amazing fantasy story and I don't have words good enough to descirbe the awesomenes of it all in a few simple sentences... ;) you're just gonna have to wait for my full review to know more ;)

Total page count of the week:

I've had another week that was a bit slower when it comes to reading... but do I stress about it? not at all :) I am enjoying everything I pick up, so that's always a plus :) and after reading a lot over the last month or so, and overdoing it a bit, it feels good to read a little less ;) if that makes sense... :) so all in all I am counting this as a good reading week... although I'm feeling that soon my reading might pick up... who knows? ;) and how was your reading week? :)
