Weekly wrap up #8 ;) february 12th - february 18th

Hello to another weekly wrap up post, where I talk about all the books I read in the previous week :) it goes live every monday and I have to say I really love writing it, sharing little snippets of my thoughts and opinions about the stuff I read recently :) plus, it's a great way to keep better track of my reading habits :) this week was definitely much slower than the last few, but more about that at the end ;) instead, let's jump into all the books, starting with the ones I was in the middle of and managed to finish, then the ones I read completely, and finishing with the ones I just read partially :)

"Wanderlust" by Lauren Blakely
from 11% to 100% -> 209 pages; finished

I knew I wanted to finish this audiobook sooner rather than later, but I'm still surprised how fast I managed that :) I blame the perfection that is Richard Armitage's voice... *sighs dreamily* ;) his british accent is absolutely swoonworthy :) it was an absolutely charming contemporary romance and I highly recommend it to you guys... especially as an audiobook ;)

"The book of secrets" by Melissa McShane
from 1% to 100% -> 262 pages; finished

This is the first in Melissa's new series, a paranormal / urban fantasy one :) I don't want to get into too many details, especially since I will be posting my full review tomorrow, so be sure to come back and check it out if you want to know more, but for now let me just say... it's a much darker story than this cover looks like ;) and I loved it :)

"Bogowie muszą być szaleni" by Aneta Jadowska
from page 86 to page 86

Out of the four paperbacks I am currently in the middle of reading, I haven't touched three during past week... I just wasn't in the mood for them, so I decided to not force myself to pick them up just so I can read two chapters and write down any progress at all... which may or may not happened in the past ;) instead I decided to just read the books I was more interested in... like the audiobooks ;) this was one of the three :)

"Grave mercy" by Robin LaFevers
from page 189 to page 189

The second out of the three books I haven't touched this past week

"The lost hero" by Rick Riordan
from page 51 to page 51

And the third and final book I didn't make any progress in :) don't get me wrong, I am still super interested in all of them... I just wanted to read other ones more... ;)

"The gentleman's guide to vice and virtue" by Mackenzi Lee
from page 60 to page 152

This is the only paperback I managed to read at least a little bit... ;) although I am reading it much slower than I expected... honestly, I thought I would finish it this past week, but... I am taking my sweet time ;) it's really good and I don't want to rush it... also, I read a bit too much over the last few weeks and now... well, a full explanation at the end of this post ;) this story is as hilarious as I expected it to be, based on all the praises I heard, but it definitely touches upon much more serious subjects, which is a beautiful surprise... can't wait to know more :)

"Elite" by Carrie Aarons
from 1% to 11% -> 25 pages

My original plan was to finish this story in time to post a review on release day, but... well... it didn't happen... but I am gonna finish it very soon and have a full review up in a matter of days so keep an eye out for that ;)

"The studying hours" by Sara Ney
from 1% to 82% -> 293 pages

This is my current audiobook :) I think that now since I discovered my love for that version of reading I will always have at least three books that I'm currently reading: one audiobook, one ebook, and at least one paperback... or four of them like I have right now ;) but back to this story ;) I am absolutely loving this hilarious novel ;) and the narrators are perfect ;) but be warned, the whole series is titled "How to date a douchebag" for very good reasons ;) I'm definitely gonna finish it very soon... as in later today ;) especially since I already have an amazing next one lined up... you're gonna have to come back next week to know what I'm talking about :)

Total page count of the week:

This week I read a lot less comparing to the previous three weeks... actually, I read even less than I expected :) but I'm totally ok with that :) I think I overdid it a little bit recently with the amount of pages I was inhaling, so going back to my regular amount is better... it actually gives me time to do other stuff ;) I went to the movies, watched some TV shows and you know... just relaxed a bit ;) plus, let's not forget about all the reviews I had to write... let's just say I was a really good blogger and worked very hard over the weekend :) expect lots of book recommendations coming your way very soon :) how was your reading week? :)
